 PNC Paul Dallas

 President Dallas
PRESIDENT

Liberated by the Russian Army on April 20, 1945, Paul returned home, attended Mississippi State University and earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration.
As National Commander, Paul proved a most valuable asset to AXPOW. Paul spent several years as a district manager for a life insurance company and was later a building contractor. Accepting a position with the

Public Works Commission of the City of Fayetteville, N.C., Paul advanced to assistant manager. Later he was district manager of Lumbee River Electric Membership Corp. until his retirement in 1990.
A member of the Methodist Church, Paul has served as a church officer for many years. He and his wife, Doris, live in Fayetteville, N.C. and have five children and seven grandchildren.

Active in AXPOW for the past 25 years, Paul served three years as Chapter Commander; three years as State Department Convention Chairman; two years as State Commander, Department of North Carolina; two years on the Governor's Advisory Committee for N.C. Division of V.A.; two years as a National Director and one year as a National Junior Vice Commander. He is presently a Director of the AXPOW Service Foundation and a member of their Liaison Committee with National. And he was recently reelected State Department Commander. Paul is also an accredited, and very successful, National Service Officer.

While Junior Vice Commander, Paul worked tirelessly to establish a credit card program that has now become an excellent source of revenue for AXPOW. And only weeks ago, he received the good news that Highway 70, a major interstate running across North Carolina, was being renamed: "American Ex-Prisoners of War Highway." Paul has put a great deal of effort into this project and now plans to extend this program to give visible recognition to Ex-POWs in other states.

A member of the Methodist Church, Paul has served as a church officer for many years. He and his wife, Doris, live in Fayetteville, N.C. and have five children and seven grandchildren.
